”A SUITECASE OF MEMORIES’ AT THE SPLASH MUSEUM

Beatrice Zagato inaugurates the exhibition ‘A suitcase of…memories and history‘ at the Splash Museum. An exhibition that brings together drawings by Italian and Russian children to remember and celebrate the magical link which came into existence during World War II between the Italian Signor Dini and the Russian soldier Pereladov.

Zagato realizes some drawings inspired to this real history, highlighting the strength of a love capable of overcoming war and time, which protagonists are a bicycle mechanic in Sassuolo and a young Russian orphan. The first, after losing his son in Russia during a fight, saves the life of Vladimir Pereladov, a Russian soldier that before the war dreamed of becoming a musician.

This event is part of the set of Initiatives dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Italian Liberation, where family members of the two Protagonists will finally meet for the first time at the Splash Museum.
