It’ s October 3rd, 2013. Nearly 400 people are missing.
They were approaching Lampedusa, but stopped before getting there. They remained on the Island of Rabbits. We will never know their names.
You can still see them, when the sea opens its curtain: they walk under a starry sky without stars, in a dawn without the sun.
They are souls without a face and perhaps there, under the sea, have found their peace.
Series of photographs inspired by the tragedy of Lampedusa that took place in 2013 which even now keeps repeating itself.
