“Love is stronger than a war”

Artwork created by the artist for the exhibition “Una valigia… fra ricordi e storia” (“a suitcase… between memories and history”) and exhibited at the Splash Museum to commemorate and celebrate the magical bond born during World War II between Mr Dini and the Russian soldier Pereladov. This image reinterprets the strength of that love, capable of overcoming war and time and whose protagonists were a bicycle mechanic in Sassuolo that, after losing his son in Russia during a fight, saved Vladimir Pereladov’s life, a young Russian orphan who before enlisting in the war dreamed of becoming a musician.
